Facility Rental Information:
Rental of the Timber Lake Center is available to those over age 21. Included in the facility rental is a professionally staffed bar, fully appointed bathrooms, tables, chairs, entertainment stage, dance floor, LED lighting, outdoor reader board signage, indoor lighted erasable white boards, coat room, kitchen warming ovens, sinks and refrigeration, outdoor patio, ample front lawn and parking areas.
Base price for rental of the facility, through 2015, is $900.00 for 6 hours. Each additional hour beyond the first 6 hours is $ 75.00 per hour.
Setting Up For Your Event:The facility will be available for set up beginning at 8:00 AM on the morning of your function unless other arrangements have been made.
It is not permissible to attach anything to the walls of the facility with tape, glue, nails, push pins, thumb tacks, putty or any other adhesive or fasteners.
In addition to the interior of the facility there is a patio area available for your use. The front lawn may be used, weather permitting, for tents, lawn games, etc. Please note that, if the ground is very wet, it may not be possible to use the lawn area.
Timber Lake Entertainment, Banquet & Conference Center is a Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board licensed facility. For every event we provide a cash bar with a professional bartender staff. Due to P.L.C.B. regulations and as a Timber Lake Center policy, guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages into the facility or on the facility grounds.
At the request of the person(s) renting the facility, Timber Lake Center will purchase and sell specific types of beverages containing alcohol aside from our normal stock; for example, if there is a champagne toast planned we can accommodate that request if notified at least 5 days prior to the event. Additional charges will apply.
Paying For Drinks:
There are several ways in which to offer alcohol to your guests. Here are a few suggestions.
At a cash bar your guests will order and pay for their own drinks. The host or hostess will not have any responsibility regarding payment for drinks.
Drink chips may be purchased by the person(s) renting the facility prior to the function date for a set price each. Each chip may be used to purchase domestic beer or single-shot well or call liquor from the bar. If your guest prefers specialty, top shelf or reserve liquor or imported beer they would be required to pay the difference in price or use multiple chips to make the purchase. We suggest, should you wish to provide alcohol for your guests, that you purchase two or three chips per person. The cash bar will be available for your guests after they have used the chips you have purchased.
Open Bar - Limited or Unlimited:
If you prefer to purchase alcohol for your guests you may do so in two ways; Limited or Unlimited.
Limited Open Bar: With a Limited Open Bar there is an agreed-upon amount that is paid in advance to Timber Lake and your guests may have any beverages they prefer from the bar until the limit is met. There is no restriction on the type of drinks your guests may purchase. After the limit is met a cash bar will remain available for your guests.
Unlimited Cash Bar: With an Unlimited Cash Bar you would be required to pay an estimated price deposit at the time of signing of the Rental Agreement based on the number of adult guests that will be in attendance and your credit card number will be kept on file and used on the day of the event as insurance that any amount over the estimated price deposit will be met. There is no restriction on the type of drinks your guests may purchase. If there is a credit balance remaining from the deposit paid it will be returned to you within five (5) business days from the date of your event.
Security / Cleaning Deposit:
Timber Lake Center requires a $500.00 refundable deposit for the facility rental. The deposit is to cover cleaning and repair costs over and above usual cleaning. If there is damage or heavy dirt remaining at the end of the function the cost to clean or make repairs will be withheld from the deposit. It is the responsibility of the person(s) renting the facility to insure that areas used for their function are thoroughly cleaned at the end of the function including removal of all decorations, cleaning and returning chairs and tables to their storage locations, vacuuming carpets, mopping tiled areas and removing all garbage. It is the responsibility of the person(s) renting the facility to provide garbage bags and cleaning supplies and equipment. Your security deposit, in whole or in part, will be returned within five (5) business days from the date of your event.
Timber Lake will, at your request, supply you with the contact information of cleaning services approved for our facility if you would prefer to hire the cleaning out. If you choose this option the payment for the service will be paid by the person(s) renting the facility prior to the event and scheduling arrangements will be made between Timber Lake and the cleaning service. The security deposit will still be required to insure against damage to the facility. Barring any damage to Timber Lake, the security deposit will be returned in its entirety within five (5) business days from the date of the event.
Linens, Plates & Flatware:
Linens, plates, flatware, serving dishes, etc. are not included in the price of rental. For reasonably priced linen rentals we suggest Bright Hospitality located in Titusville. They can be reached at (814) 827-7070.
A Rental Agreement must be signed. At the time of signing the rental and security deposit payments must be made.
To book the Timber Lake Center the rental and security deposit payments must be made at the time of booking to secure the date. The Timber Lake Center cannot hold a date without payment.
The Timber Lake Center management reserves the right to refuse rental for events that are illegal, discriminatory or that the management deems to be inappropriate for the venue.
No one under age 21 is permitted to rent the facility.
No alcohol will be served to persons under age 21. No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the facility or on the facility grounds.
The Timber Lake Center staff and management requires positive photo ID for anyone purchasing beverages containing alcohol.
Any security deposit refund due will be made within 5 business days from the date of the event. The refund will be made by check and it will be payable to the person who signed the Rental Agreement.
